I choose this romatic picture for "Romeo and Juliet" because this story is based on a love story about true love at first sight. The picture also so shows kids kissing and Romeo and Juliet are in love at a young age.

The Soldier

How does a soldier feel fighting a war?
Does he always know what he is fighting for?
Maybe he knows but doesn't understand,
why he is alone in a faraway land.
Like so many others he is there for a cause,
And like the rest he doesn't pause.
He has a job that he does well,
even as his best friend beside him fell.
How does he feel when he hears the news,
of violent protests from the ignorant few?
His shame is great, the pain goes deep
he feels compassion for the dead at his feet.
Rioters can boast and carry signs,
about the war that has shook our time.
But when the call comes for them to go,
they burn their draft cards and make a show.
How can a soldier be proud of his land,
when this type of people make a stand?
How can we show him we are glad he is there,
fighting for freedom and the ones who care?
War is unfair in any way of life,
and all involved must pay the price.
But the soldier is proud to keep us free,
stop and think..........

He proudly serves his country

He wears his ribbons for all to see

He’s served Old Glory with honor

And he’s fought for our liberty.

Soldiers Eyes

To look into a soldier's eyes, the window to their soul.

Look out from inside their mind and see horrors never told.

You say we are just killers, it's not that plain you see.

Take a walk inside my boots and see what I have seen.

Many innocent lives taken and soldiers, they were some.

Giving their life freely to get the mission done.

The last cold stare of death, we see in our buddies eyes.

They fought for all your freedom, this is why we die.

Some wonder why we fight to protect this nation and maybe lose our life.

Ask this question to a soldier, the answers in their eyes.

Always will we be here waiting, the call we won't deny.

We'll always fight for freedom, never asking why.

We'll go away to far off lands , leaving our loved ones behind.
Many times we die alone, several times inside.

Open windows to our soul, see the tears we hide.

Secrets that we cannot keep are in a soldier's eyes.

One fascinating character in, To Kill a Mockingbird, is Atticus. He shows the side of him in the court house that no one has ever seen before. Being serious, responsible, and trying to win his case is what Atticus acts when he defeats his case for Tom Robinson. Everyone knows that Tom Robinson is guilty because of racism, people not respecting black people, and thinking black people are bad people. Though Atticus thinks the same that people think that, Atticus fights his case and he defines a respect for black people and others actions in this book. By unbuttoning and taking his layered jacket off, showed that the case is extremely more important than what the rules were for dressing. Also it was very hot and he didn't care what people thought about him, but instead he cared about winning his case for Tom Robinson. With all the pressure and agonizing, we can all see that Atticus cares about this case more than anything and changes his behavior and personality to win it.

"My So Called Amazing Weekend"

My weekend was just a typical weekend. I just stayed home did some cleaning and organization around the house. Every morning my brother, Carl and I made breakfast for each other. One day we had pancakes and potatoes with sausage. Then another day we made sausage, eggs, cheese, and bacon in burritos. On Saturday I was so excited and pumped up for the game. One reason is that I got to cheer at a varsity game. Another reason is that I was the only freshman to cheer at the game, but I wasn't the only girl off the J.V. squad. There was just Tori, Jerrica, Kylie, and i cheering for J.V. I was kind of bumbed that Cristiann couldn't cheer with because she was still healing from her falling out of a stunt onto her back. The day was so sad, I felt so bad for and still do. Anyways on Sunday the Missionary's came over for a discussion on a none member. It was just a spiritual moment and I really enjoyed it. Wow! Monday was just so relaxing for me and I really enjoyed it as well. I woke up early and got chores done then I just relaxed in bed for a while and just did practically nothing, but relax. Last night I went to the arena with my friend katelynd and we rode are horses around. RMy horses so worked up and really exosted afterward. After we left the arena we went to Micky D's = AKA McDonald's and got ice cream for rewarding our self sense we worked so hard on our horse. When I got home I called my friend Ryan, sense I haven't talked to him forever. Ryan is one of my best friends that live far away from me in Escelant Utah, which is a small town where my mom grew up and now my cousin's live there. We talked for hours and I love to talk to him because he is such an amazing and wonderful friend to me. He is practically my brother, but he is a sweet kid and I love his blond personality and ways. When every I need someone to talk to or someone to brighten my day, I always call him to help me. My weekend was so amazing and I truly enjoyed just relaxing and loving life.

"Scout Shouldn't Know"

I think that Scout shouldn't know about what rape means and what the case is about. One reason is that she is way to young to understand what it means and facts about it. Another reason is that lawyers are not suppose to tell others about their case and what it is about because it impolite. My last reason is that it is none of Scouts bussiness to even know about the case because she isn't in the case first of all. These are many important reasons why Scout shouldn't know about the case and what rape means.

My Coolio Book

This book is very intense and very emotional. I'm reading this book for many reasons. One reason is that its about the Holocaust. I love reading about the Holocaust history and time period because its very interesting an a tragic time in our history today. Another reason is that Mr. Davis, which AKA the coolio teacher ever and recommended it for me. My last reason is that we have to read it in Mr. Davis's class for a grade. These are many reasons why I'm reading this fabulous book.
